Rapid Page

Rapid Page is a quick and easy membership notification tool. It allows you to rapidly notify all or some of your membership via text. This type of technology has been around for a while using telephone dial-up modems but Rapid Page has been designed to utilize the TCP/IP technology of the Internet. This helps insure that your messages reach their destination extremely fast. Rapid Page taps in to the same Notification database that its cousin Alarm Data Interface (ADI) creates and maintains. This allows you to establish notification groups that you can assign different members of your agency to.

When you need to notify just your EMS personnel (or any subset of your membership) or the whole department, just select their group, type your message and then send it. Within a few seconds their cellular phone, alphanumeric pager, PDA, etc. is beeping indicating that your message has arrived.

Rapid Page works with virtually all e-mail and text-based providers so that you don't have to worry about being able to contact any of your members. Let's face it, today most of us carry a cell phone, PDA and/or an alpha pager. With all these communication devices, there often just isn't enough room for our voice fire pager on our belt. Rapid Page allows those non-emergency messages to get to us wherever we are. No longer do you have to worry about missing a voice announcement stating that tonight's meeting was rescheduled or one of your apparatus is out of service for repairs - with Rapid Page you know.

All you have to do is select the person or group that you would like to send the message to, type in the subject and the main message text and then press Send Message.
Within a few seconds the recipient(s) of your message has been notified.
